May the gift of love, happiness, peace, and warmth be yours as you make a new start. Happy New Year!
I chose to stay in ibis Ambassador Seoul Insadong because of its proximity to a number of tourist spots. It is primarily located in Insadong where you can find local and traditional shops and restaurants. The hotel is a few minutes walk to Unhyeongung palace, Bukchon Hanok village, Cheongyecheon stream and Changdeokgung palace. You can also walk to the subway in Anguk station and Jongno 3-ga station.
Bukchon, meaning “North Village” is a traditional village located in between the two palaces Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung. During the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), many yangbans (people from the ruling class) lived in these 900 hanoks (traditional house).
Seoul, the capital of Republic of Korea is a city both modern and traditional. Old palaces and temples stand in stark contrast with modern structures and towering skyscrapers while valued traditions exist harmoniously with modern technology and pop culture.
Hello and welcome! You have stumbled upon an introductory post of my personal and docile blog. My name is Jeb and this is my very first blog post. I am from Sydney, Australia. I created this blog just to document what is happening in my life. I am not a writer and was never into to literary work as far as I can remember, but lately I find writing and taking pictures interesting. So now I will combine both and try blogging .
This blog will be a compilation of my life experiences; places I travel, food I eat, hobbies I spend my time with, art and style I admire and whatever topic I’m inspired with. Everything will be in amateur level so don’t expect much. Be humane with the comments please. Enjoy!
